# Good Friday Agreement (1998)

The British and Irish governments and most Northern Irish parties agreed a new power-sharing and constitutional framework. Within the broader Postwar & Modern UK period, decolonization, welfare institutions, migration, European integration and withdrawal, devolution and social change reshaped the modern United Kingdom.
