# Wyatt's Rebellion (1554)

Thomas Wyatt led a rising against Mary's planned marriage to Philip of Spain. Within the broader Tudor Britain period, dynastic consolidation, Reformation, closer incorporation of Wales and Ireland, and rivalry with Catholic Europe transformed the state.
